Why I love Yorkshire .
Born and Bred .
Yorkshire is possibly the most beautiful county in the world. Yes I am from Yorkshire, born and bred, so there may be a little bias on my part, but when I tell you about it’s 4 sides, the hills and the valleys, the cities and how awesome the Yorkshire people are, you’ll soon want to come and visit.

Sun, Sea & Sand .
Until 2017, I lived right in the centre of Yorkshire, so getting to the beach took a minimum of 2 hours, so as much as I love the ocean, it wasn’t a regular thing…but then I moved to Hull.
Do you need a professional design in Hull?
Hull is at the end of a very long road at the most eastern tip of Yorkshire. Known for his harbours and marine life, Hull was the centre of all things water. City of Culture in 2017, Hull has been through major re-vamps, and moving here meant we are the recipient of some amazing city centre events.
But my favourite part of living here is that within 20 minutes I can take my kids to Hornsea Beach. A glorious beach with rocks, sand, waves and even a splash pool.
The Hills are alive .
In 2019, I was able to join my parents and one of my brothers to climb one of the Yorkshire 3 peaks as my brother completed a 24 hours 3 peak challenge. As you walk in the stillness of a peak in Yorkshire, you become overwhelmed by the natural beauty, which has often been encapsulated by authors such as the Brontë sisters who lived in Haworth and wrote some of their most famous works.
Being amongst the hills gives you a real sense of the vastness of this county and the glory which lays in its green hills and farming valleys.
“I will not cease from mental fight,
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England’s green and pleasant land.” ~ Jerusalem
And one of the most amazing movies filmed in the north of Yorkshire, Calendar Girls, sing the words of Jerusalem, and there’s something magical about hearing the words “In Englands green and pleasant land.” which is how I see Yorkshire.

Me and my shadow .
When ever I go away from Yorkshire, although there are other similarly very beautiful places up and down the country such as Northumberland, The Lakes, Cumbria and our families favourite, Wales; Yorkshire is just that little bit of me that won’t go away, it’s literally in my blood and I love it.
When the sunsets each day that I am in my bed in Yorkshire, I am home!
